University of Wisconsin Placement Tests

UW-Madison students are required to take the University of Wisconsin System placement tests.  These tests are used for placement into mathematics, English, French, German, Spanish and Latin.  These tests can be taken during the Regional Placement Testing Program, during SOAR, or at certain times throughout the year (See residual placement testing schedule).
