Ben Fortney- Testing Coordinator
Ben Fortney is the Student Services Specialist for T&E. He joined the team in December of 2004 and is excited to be part of such of a great group of people. Ben received his BA –English from UW Madison in December of 2004, and had been working as a student with the department for 2 years prior to that.
Ben’s responsibilities include coordinating special accommodations for
students of the UW in conjunction with the McBurney Disability Center. He also coordinates Placement Testing for the Madison campus and advanced degree exams such as the LSAT, GRE, Praxis, and PCAT. He is currently the Academic Staff Assembly Representative for district 467 and has recently been appointed to the SoE Committee on Academic Staff Issues.
When not working, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and chasing his Basset Hound, Max around the house.
